a card for my mother-in-law the die is spellbinders gold, the centre decoration I bought as part of a set from a little gift shop, the little snowflake printed shapes are some cheap decorations from tesco everything else I  have had in my stash for quite a while. I used 2 card bases to make an easel then used my circle cutter to cut the centre out then added a foam wreath base then embellished.

this is from the new tonic verso heart and square dies sets the font die is Robert Adams, the holly is actually two die sets mcs and (sorry it has slipped my mind I will update when I remember). I used 4 of the verso dies into the card then backed with mirri. simple but so affective.
May I take this opportunity to wish you all wherever you are
A Very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful and Happy New Year xxx

This is for my daughter and son-in-law enjoyed making this one spellbinder edge and poinsettia die. The heart is a little wooden decoration

These are for my grandchildren, I printed off  some snowman and Father Christmas decoupage from crafters companion The snow globes are from M.C.S

Saturday 14 December 2013

Added some bakers twine to these for the Crafter's Companion blog, I did actually think something was missing but thought ribbon would be too much so actually think the twine works really well

Wednesday 4 December 2013

I just love these cards, the card blank is the snow globe/crystal ball from M.C.S the snow man/dog are from crafters companion

The father Christmas and wording are Robert Adams, I cannot recal the brand of the village but they are so sweet loved working with them

This is a card I did for my life long friends eldest who turns 30 today 05/12/13!!. The back ground is spell binders, the lilies are tonic. I used my cricut to do the lettering and numbers the gilded them

This is some samples I did for M.C.S all about alphabets cd rom they are actually boxes and look very effective

On this sample I used one of the colour block shapes available on the typography cd rom making it three different shades of oval them filled it with flowers from the tattered lace collection by M.C.S

The above three cards are also samples I did for M.C.S from their typography cd rom which is over flowing with inserts for all occasions. What I did was use the insert on the front of the card also but using the elite programme I altered either the insert or the front of the card so they complimented but did differ.

More crackers using the tonic cracker die with the snowman and snow dog dies from crafters companion, the background paper on the cracker is from the snowman and snow dog cd rom from crafters companion. I have used double sided tape on the edges and covered them in glitter

Made some crackers tonight using the tonic cracker die, have actually put gifts in them also.Made the box using the ultimate pro, insetting some acetate in the lid.

Saturday 16 November 2013

This is a card I have made which will be on its way to Australia soon, the main die is spell binders and the pocket watch die is Robert Adams it is lovely to use an I have used glass beads in abundance on this card.
This is Hunkydory window to the heart, heartfelt season could not resist this kit so lovely to make up the I could go mad with my embellishments

Since taking this photo I have straightened the word topper lol, my sister Carolyn Mckay is a very talented lady with her knitting and crocheting (she takes after our mum) so she made the mittens I think they look lovely, the backing card is from an M.C.S cd rom and the teddy topper is tatty teddy

More from Hunkydory the pull out section has a verse on the other side, they also came with their own boxes I went mad again with the embellishment, just thinks it makes them more individual.

This is my sisters crocheting, we made them so the snowflake (or star) is removable and becomes a decoration I sprayed them with starch and added some pearls they are lovely.

more Hunkydory, on Hunkydory shaped card stock

My stall at a recent craft fayre, I love making the wreaths

Some gift bags, using a tonic verso die.

more of my favorites the wreaths. So this is what I have been up to lately just a small sample x

Thursday 17 October 2013

This is for the October card swap on the MCS forum, Autumn being the theme this month. The main card is from an MCS cd rom, I used a pre cut stepper card blank the lettering and background paper and ribbon are from my crafty stash, their origin being lost in the mists of time lol I have also used a craft glaze to highlight the web around the figure and on the leaves as dew but it doesn't show up well at all in the photo.

This I gave to my Sister yesterday for her Birthday, this is the new tonic verso dies with matching punch really nice to work with. The lettering I foiled with my letraset foiling machine works really well.
