Friday 19 September 2014

Am getting ready for Christmas so have not blogged for a while, completed these 10 cards this evening and just had to share I am really pleased with them. They are from svgcuts cut out using the scan and cut. They are oven glove shaped cards with a real wooden spoon on them as well as a 'gingerbread biscuit and candy cane' with handmade envelopes, time consuming but so nice.

Monday 11 August 2014

More work on the snc with files from svgcuts, the lids come off the train to store sweets etc the back of the church opens so you can add battery candles which shine through the vellum windows very effective and the town house is a lovely sturdy gift bag (can you tell I am having a lot of fun with my scan and cut :)  )

This is my June card swap card for the M.C.S platinum club forum, the theme this month is your favourite things, so I did just that embossing and die cutting. The cloud background is from crafters companion I used perfect medium on the deboss side of the folder ran it through then added the blue embossing powder ensuring that any powder that stuck to the clouds I removed before heating. the majority of the flowers are tattered lace the leaves are tattered lace the sentiment circle and centre flower are spellbinders the tiny butterflies are also from a die but I cannot recall the brand sorry.

Monday 23 June 2014

A late birthday card for my BFF spellbinders for the main border and some of the feathers with the really intricate feather and the butterfly being tattered lace. the lovely purple embossed card is from papermilldirect

Am really happy with this, on the Disney web site you can down load party items free so I printed Olaf out and the cut them out using direct cut on my snc really pleased with the results these are party bags for my grandaughters 4th birthday.

Monday 2 June 2014

wow on the day I was discharged from hospital I find out that I have won my first card competition  on the M.C.S platinum club members forum. the theme was that all the art work should be from an M.C.S  cd rom with any changes made done through M.C.S also so that is exactly what I did I chose my subject the tricky bit was copying the image onto printable acetate as you have to remember to reverse the image overlay on.top of the card topper the copy it onto a new page so it will be in the right place then print off so effective I then added a tag ribbon from my stash and some gems then made a matching lined envelope really enjoyed this make x

Monday 19 May 2014

I finished the inside off with  a piece of velum on which a tattered lace border and letters were added
