Launching 20th January at 11am on Create & Craft TV a new USB from Amy Dodd 'Soda Pop

Had this amazing glitter card in my stash for a long time, I had it in mind as soon as I saw the file for this cherry. I DID NOT CUT THE GLITTER CARD WITH MY SCANNCUT, it would have ruined my blade and got into my workings so I drew around the main body pieces onto the back of the glitter card and cut them out by hand. 

Apologies for the poor photography, the church was such a large file it would'nt fit into my light box 😄. The cardstock I used for the roof tiles was in my stash it is a wood effect and perfect for this and yes it cut beautifully on the scanncut, just look at the mats for the door just beautiful. 

for this quirky gift box I cut two of the 'fries mat' for the second one I flipped the file so they don't line up I also made the outline a cut only and the interior lines a draw only line.

For this album I used some of the gorgeous Charisma included on the USB plus the matching SVG to cut the flowers and the pocket watch. I used glossy accents on the face of the watch. The font is a drawing file included on the USB 

Inside are folders that can be held closed but the ribbons, for those papers etc you don't want to spoil by sticking them down, or those items a little too bulky to add to an ordinary album but still a very treasured memory.

For the Fairy door album I painted a single layer of construction board one side using ranger dylusions acrylic paint in melted chocolate shade and added a card stock to the inside. I then used some cadence hybrid metallic paint in pearl applying to the painted surface using my rare earth roller. The grass was achieved using artsy stone in small mixed with sparkle medium in jade both from imagination crafts.

I added 10 pages of mixed colours attaching to the spine which is part of the file for the door.

The back window has a pretty paper and acetate begind it.

I love this notebook, I sed construction board to add stability for the cover. When I had drawn and cut the pages I flipped one before cutting so I could then one that one was cut remove it whilst leaving the 12x12 in place on the mat whilst still in the machine, reverse the ones I had already completed in the gap left by the reversed cut then I just had to let the machine draw in the lines to achieve double sided note paper.

This lovely album can hold many photo's, I only added 4 inserts but you could add more. mine are in construction board but if you did them in carstock it would leave ample room for more.

Each file has a matching outer frame, I cut this in acetate to give added stability to an intricate cut.

I love this file, I have made samples with this before but to have the charisma is a game changer. I again used the outer frame cut it in white then used spray inks to add colour and definition.

I again used acetate for the outer edge cut, this one I used the decoupage pieces too.
