Pick of the day today on Create&CraftTV the Cutting Craftorium magazine USB vol 2

for this sample I altered the door frame to a heart cut the heart through all of the door layers and added a vellum between the layers when assembling. the hooks on the inside I added by adding a couple of rows of marks which I drew with the scanncut when cutting the back section, before adding the backing paper I used a screw to screw into the drawn marks ensuring I didn't go all the way through I then added the hooks dipping into glue before pacing so they are very stable.

For this sample I added my own label name I also cut the paper tassel away and added a real one 

For the star I altered the top layer by adding the cut out pattern into the top layer of the star I also added vinyl stars by using the inbuilt heart and altering the size to fit the stars in the pattern of the inlay.

For this sample I followed the directions included in the booklet to make the font but I cut it in vinyl instead of card. Where mine also differs is that I used 3 layers of blackboard paint and incuded a piece of chalk.

For this sample I made an easel card inking the edges to match the colour scheme layered up the charisma doing a spot of fussy cutting to make the bunnies headdress the top layer. 

For this sample I made an easel card with three circles the same size as the charisma added multiple layers one of which I altered the cut file so it would leave the background whole. I then finished with some drops for snow. 

I used grey board for the bauble painted with cadence paint with a thick acetate sandwiched between. The USB includes reversed charisma all you have to do is flip the cut file and hey presto a bauble. After adding layers of the charisma I added glitter structure paste.

Tattered Lace alphabets and Words USB launched this week

I used the we are memory keepers foiling pen (the thin nib) on the scanncut to foil font and I wanted a mat rather than cut to size so I made my own mat layer.

I love this font, soooo many of the fonts come with a charisma for you to print off scan then line up the cutting file on top and cut out. This is a balloon font which works really well, I didn't have to add anything to make the letters pop the charisma does it all.

For my samples I used cardstock but there are also  files suitable for use with Fleurs Flower Forming Foam. The backgrounds and sentiments are from the new USB from KitnCaboodle for use with Clever cutting formes sets 1 to 4  the frames I made from cardstock then covered in structure paste to add texture.

The toppers and background papers are all on the USB ready for you to print out, just ensure you print at 100% or actual size however your printer phrases it and you cannot go wrong  print then use the die sets to die cut and away you go.
